Elegane is a response to the theme 'decorative'. It is a very french looking font, as it explores a quirky elegance, inspired by the illustrations of Walt Peregoy. I looked at Parisian culture and lifestyle. Architecture and interior style was very much a key influence as it is typically fanciful, ornate and decorative. The font is heavily influenced by floral design and is more of a display font, especially when used in a larger size as the structure of the circles becomes more apparent and therefore modernises it's appearance. -
