For a manual adjustment of glyphs spacing, go to menu, then view and select Letter Width, a vertical green bar appears and you can push it from case to case with your mouse, to the right to increase spacing, to the left to decrease it.
Global spacing, which affects all characters the same way can be found in the preview section.
Last, to change spacing between words (not letters) you must go to the "space" character which is between "z" and "0", then use the same method (menu-view-letter width and displace the green bar) on this generally empty character (but you also can draw a shape, some kind of sign to be used between words, i made it sometimes on some special contexts)
I think i told all that could be about spacing. Hope it will help.
