Well, I think you really did your homework. I'm very much impressed by the high quality of your work. It's wonderfully executed. I am very glad you've found inspiration in my work, and the seeds of that short tutorial have fallen onto fertile ground, apparently. At the same time credit has to be given to loboarches and kix too, who pioneered this technique. Congratulations. 10/10

PS: Planet of the Apes (1968, with Charlton Heston), were one of my most memorable movie nights, and I've seen it many times after.

Thank you all for your encouraging comments, friends, and from here I send my great appreciation to the groundbreaking work of loboarches and kis that opened this way, I only walk the road.

This is a good send off on Che & I'm proud of the work in the matter of how good it is, I put my name underneath the poster. I do make a monkey out of myself now and then & it's a good humor poster.

They are copying this of mine on the net (I show just one of a lot of images)... after 14 years! I don't know whether to feel flattered or hurt. 🤣😭☺️

@elmoyenique - The old saying still holds true: "Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery."  ;^)

@Goatmeal: Thank you, Master. Your words are always a breath of wisdom and fresh air.

Imitation is the best form of flattery that mediocrity can pay to greatness (it's not an exact quote). Congratulations, your work has become a meme. They should have given you credit, nevertheless.

Comment by Frodo7 8th july 2024

@Frodo7: Thank you for your words, inspiring Maestro. It's true that it's annoying to see others take advantage of your work, and crediting me would have been very simple and gratifying, but they have chosen not to do so. Life is hard, and we keep fighting against the tide.

@elmoyenique - Though you may not have been given credit, the world is a better place for art such as this exist, as opposed to one where it never existed at all.  It is an idea borne from your creativity and speaks to the world -- as evidenced by the number of clones and copies -- no matter how derivative it may become BECAUSE of those imitations.

Comment by Goatmeal 8th july 2024

@elmoyenique - And when I say, "the world is a better palce for art such as this to exist," I am, of course, speaking directly to your initial image, and not the multitude of poseurs.  ;^)

Comment by Goatmeal 8th july 2024

@Goatmeal: You didn't need to explain it to me, I'd understood you perfectly. Thank you again for your continuous support and constructive comments, Master.
