you’re planning to cover some UCSUR scripts now? nice :)
@dhdhdhdhdhdhhdhddh: Thanks! I've already implemented six UCSUR scripts (Tengwar, Cirth, Sylabica, Unifon, Ath, Klingon). I'm currently working on Ewellic (UCSUR), but I plan to add most other UCSUR scripts.
* The only scripts that I won't do are: Engsvanyáli, which is too complex to be feasible; Streich, Serivelna, Ssûraki, and Timothy Miller’s Ferengi, whose glyphs have been lost to time; and Semtog, which its character names and glyphs have not yet been submitted to the UCSUR.
I will start working on Shidinn when I complete the "Miscellaneous Symbols" and "Miscellaneous Symbols and Arrows" Unicode blocks.
request: english phonotypic alphabet and metelko. you may put them in the supplementary PUA-A.
The English Phonotypic alphabet letters will be in Latin Extended-G when Unicode 18 comes out this September.
@BWM okay. but when will you update kemig?
@dhdhdhdhdhdhhdhddh I will put the EPA in Latin Extended-G. Melteko will be added at ranges U+F072 to U+F089.
@ctcg_ ok, also if possible, can you add canIPA?
@dhdhdhdhdhdhhdhddh I can put it in CanIPA Extensions at Plane F.
request: nooalf
I may reposition the combining diacritical marks in this font to above the uppercase A… But, it would increase line spacing.
Who voted 1/10
can you add elymaic or sunuwar?
@dhdhdhdhdhdhhdhddh: OK, I'll add them. I'm pushing Sunuwar and Elymaic to be added now.
Note that I will still do Shidinn after Miscellaneous Symbols and Arrows.
This font now has over 9,000 glyphs. While I was adding Shidinn, this font's glyph count passed the nine thousand glyph mark.
now who voted this masterpiece a 1/10?! shame on them!
request: quikscript and hacm
I will finish Update 1.10
can you add ethiopic (if you are able to)?
Some of the symbols in Unicode are really complex to do as intended in this font, but I'll do it anyway.
Added Gothic.
Also added Roman symbols in Ancient Symbols, completing support for Roman fractional units.
I'm getting closer to 10,000 glyphs!
This font now has 10,001 glyphs.
Added : circled numbers 21-50 and many symbols in CJK Compatibility
How can I access the upcoming "Miscellaneous Symbols and Arrows Extended" block at range U+1DB00-1DBFF?
Meek will add it to the block list some time after Unicode 18 releases.
Also, the comma is the preferred form for ĢĶĻŅŖ, despite their names saying "cedilla".
wekk it's upcoming so it's probably not available yet???
i had the above comment prepared for yesterday but didn't subnit it
Do I have to wait until 2-4 months since Unicode 18.0 release? Or should I override the block list?
Well, you could override the block list in Dev Tools, but FontStruct already has access to every block in Unicode 17 (as of writing this).
I usually store the glyphs in a separate private font until Meek adds support for the newer versions.
@ctcg_ maybe tput it over SMP or SIP or TIP
can you add osmanya
