Here's how it works.

a = pa | b = pi | c = pu

d = ja | e = ji | f = ju

g = ka | h = ki | i = ku

j = la | k = li | l = lu

m = na | n = ni | o = nu

p = wa | q = wi | r = wu

s = ca | t = ci | u = cu

v = a | w = i | x = u

Capitalize a letter and it will give a hush mark. Capital y is a variant for capital s.

The orthography chooses the syllable based on "synharmony." If the hushed syllable is not in the beginning of the word, the vowel of it becomes the same as the previous vowel. Example: wunlap -> wu nu-HUSH la pa-HUSH

If it is in the beginning, then it becomes i if the next syllable's consonant is j, u if it is w, otherwise it is a. Example:

nwa -> nu-HUSH wa

pjal -> pi-HUSH ja la-HUSH

plipa -> pa-HUSH li pa

Also, if multiple hushed syllables are in a row, then they are synharmonous with the previous's hushed vowel. Example: kalc -> ka la-HUSH ca-HUSH

Periods, exclamation marks, and question marks go at the beginning of sentences. e.g.

?Does the quick brown fox jump over the lazy dog.Yes it does!I didn't know that
