Underground is based on the typeface used on The Velvet Underground's debut album "The Velvet Underground & Nico" from 1967. Currently only the A-Z, a-z, 0-9, and basic punctuation are available.

@ oddbean: thank you for appreciating that the designer made upper and lower case to help writers unable to change keyboard settings :) So, it's a 10/10 for caring perfection ?!
Congratulations on the TP. The font looks so great even without psychedelic background or colouring.
I remember listening to that album in the 70s when it still had a strong fanbase among party guests ... it went out of fashion with Punk, but looking at music/fashion history it will be "in" during the new 20s ;) and your font should be right there at the popularity summit.

@OddBean14Fuck The reason they are the same is because the source of the original font (an album cover) only features uppercase letters.
