I feel your pain. I've had to take a few of my finished Fonstructions and edit them in FontLab to beat those Z's into submission. Nice work nonetheless.
One of the increasingly nagging drawbacks of brick scaling and brick overlapping seems to be an increase in those pesky 'notches' - where anchor points don't line up between connecting bricks. For example, see intaglio's l/c 'r' (love it! btw) here in magog. You'll notice if you zoom in on the terminal of the glyph the two notches distort the nice curve. Another good reason to grab something like TypeTool - you can go back into your font and make all those anchor points line up.
@Williaum: my teeny mind is being blown by this. Do I want what is left of my life to disappear down a neverending hole? Hell, yes! The link to the website had me salivating.
The thought of being able to beat my fonts into submission (for $99!) is tempting. In other words, turning them into real typefaces...

I've fixed the notch problem.
The bricks were drawn with a small inaccuracy. Any other FontStructions using the same bricks (the rounded corners) and suffering from such issues should also look better now.
If you notice anymore such notch problems, please send a mail from the contact page with the 'I have a problem' category.
@williaum: I quite see what you mean about the kerning (lack of!) in Empyreus. All those curly bits are giving InDesign a hernia. It makes the purchase of Typetool a matter of urgency. The font has a lumpen quality without proper kerning, more so than many of my other fonts.
I read with sadness Typetool doesn't do Opentype. I'm expecting a bit much for my $100, aren't I. Still, I may be able to do a little pH balancing of the more acid FontStruct tendencies. I'm keen to find out.
