I noticed that you had been looking at an alternate for the 'T' ... would something on these lines help?

p2p: of course I favour the one in the middle except for the departure from the strict spacing that it causes. I did contemplate big, fat bars on the I but couldn't bring myself to do it. The T does stand out a bit without the rounding off. I was going to use the lower case slots for alternate glyphs but the t was as far as I got.
