Cool. A normal capital eszett is like a ligature between a small long S and an ezh. (that's the 3-ish letter)

The normal "sharp s" "ß" is a ligature of ſ (long s) and s/ſ and ʒ (ezh). ſs merged into ß over time, and people are currently debating how capital should look like (traditionally, the capital of ß is SS). Typically the capital is ſʒ.
