The idea is that the entire universe, the stars, the earth, your house, even your memories, came into existence just a few days ago. Everything you remember from your childhood? That is just FAKE CODE implanted in your brain to give you a convincing backstory. That scar on your knee? Pre-rendered damage designed to sell the illusion. The dinosaur bones buried deep underground? Spawned there instantly to make the world look OLD. It's exactly like when you load into a massive open-world video game and the character already has a history, lore, & items in their inventory. You truly think you've lived a whole life. But the reality is; you might have LITERALLY just logged in for the first time. And the scariest part? You could never, EVER prove it. For all YOU know, The simulation actually started 5 seconds ago; right now.
