Its works very well together.
Very nice slab serif. Beautiful tall ascenders. Well-designed system for a font family in mind. VEROORDEELD (=convicted), really? Why the odd name? 10/10

About the name of the font "VEROORDEELD", (=convicted) that is correct.
The reason for my perhaps odd names is often simply inspirational source related (this is no different). Combine that with 800+ Fontstructions in total, and one can easily end up having a odd name!
