Props to the creator for making this accessible, but there are some errors in here. I know it’s probably not possible to leave letters out in these fonts, but for posterity’s sake, and since this font keeps getting used for bootleg merch:
There are no capital letters in g code so flipping the character upside down is incorrect. The J and X are incorrect. The X hasn’t actually been found in any of his work, but the J as well as the number 2 appeared in an official t shirt “virtual self b2b g jones” (photo attached). 2 is the only number that has been officially found afaik. Additionally the “O” should not end in a point, and some of the letters are sitting at the wrong height (several letters are basically top aligned like O and E while others like K are centered vertically)
some take up a wider space (seems like they all should sit in the same size block unlike d, e, and o here)
some use different weighted lines (all lines should have about the same thickness, c, h, r, and u are the most noticable)
The “M” could also look slightly better but these are the main offenders I’ve seen. Hope this is helpful to someone somewhere. I spent way to long becoming basically fluent in this made up language and now all I see are spelling errors on otherwise dope bootleg merch
Thank you so much, fellow being, for taking the time to review and correct the vocabulary. I truly appreciate the effort you put into it.
I'll do my best to make the corrections so the Gjones vocabulary stays as accurate as possible to the original.
I also took the liberty of adding numbers, some letters and lowercase letters since I knew they officially didn't exist. In lower cases if you know the letter and see it spined then you know it is in lower case wich I thougt was fun and adds a bit of “complexity” to the The Ineffable Truth G jones vocabulary. (also this is helpful to know wich merchandise is bootleg) ;-)
If you happen to know anything else about the writing system or spot anything that could be improved, I'd be more than happy to keep refining it.
If you're ever up for it, I'd love to have a chat with you sometime.
