Genius idea—I've never seen a sign language translated into a written language. (Other than those fonts which are basically just pictures of hands...) I don't know much ASL so I can't offer much advice, but I can give you my 10/10.
A definite novel approach, it gives attractive looking text. As to ASL, I don't know it and can't comment on the 'translation' you made compared to the original. But it looks logical somehow. I hope she likes it :)
