Thanks. I diverted towards other things after this post. Have been trying to work with Devanagari for smaller sizes. Will post the developments here...

I have a question. When I type using hindi fonts from here, it always looks broken and there is no half-form for consonant conjunctions for any of the letters. For example if you want to write hindi, it will look like hinadi. Is there a way to correctly display them?

The half-form letters are to be designed separately and have to be mapped with the Hindi keyboard. Also, the way the half-form will associate with the next letter is determined by the appropriate ligature. The font here is incomplete, so it is bound to show only whole letters. You can consult one of my friends for more information on this.
