A script/cursive version of FS 10th Vert. This entry might be invalid due to it's achievement of being 152 blocks high. This is a clone of FS 10th Vert

After the competition I will try to add more extended characters for a better language support. This is a clone

Working on another typeface, the idea of a spiky up-dn, up-dn m popped in my head. I quickly drew up the character to work on in the future and wrote "perhaps" on it as a reminder. This is the result.
Drawing up the sample, it is clear that this typeface it too heavy. Hence "perhaps, perhaps"...coming up...at some point. Well, maybe. Perhaps.

This is my second fontstruction for a project during the first term of my study in Graphic Design at UWE.
I have based this typeface on a similar (un-named) font that has been found in a Typefounders Catalogue dated before 1955, I really liked a lot of the ornate qualities and decided to bring this forgotten typeface into the modern day by replicating features of it through this digital medium.

Something along the lines of architaraz. Kerning isn't perfect, but who cares? :)

aloha was created for Scriptcomp currently happening here at FS. evolved primarily from the o, but i still tried to push modular envelope by adding as much character as would let me while running to the finish line to complete. UC probably would be nice, ...we'll see. not sure if i will do some more new or pull from the vaults :) good luck everyone. FK

Influenced by the album Juturna by Circa Survive, I created this font from my listening experience. Also, Esao Andrews album art for Juturna also coerced me into a more grungy feel for the letter forms. I also don't see many typefaces like this, so I wanted to design letters that are thinner and might be perceived as nervous or appalling, maybe even hastily scrawled, like last words before an unplanned death. I don't plan to start a revolution, just enjoy Juturna.

Trying to solve the UC dam#%/%@& kerning.
Inspired in the font "Armstrong" -created by the great Rian Hughes (sorry, master)-, but with own personality, IMHO. I've worked a lot on details in the glyphs, especially in the lowercase's ones, including new shapes, ligatures, numbers and other extended signs...
The font still "In Progress" today for me. Hope you like it!

Starting from the word fluid I developed this font with the aim of incorporating several characteristics pertaining to the word itself. Each letter in the font flows from one to the next; a sense of motion continuing throughout. I looked at surface tension on liquids and tried to make the shape of the font reflect the constraints of this tension. I especially looked at wax turning from liquid to solid and the rigid shape it formed. It's quite simplistic so I would like to work more with it to see how I can include more texture that could link with the light reflections on the surface.

I was inspired by the word squishy.i started of looking at squishy objects,i did a few experiments with toothpaste and liked the idea of flow.I looked at Benoit Bodhin and his font Pipo to give me inspiration to keep flow throughout the letters without them actually being joined.

Inspired by a Vascomat sign. I know the v, w, x, y and z are a bit awkward, and some of the curves are a bit wobbly.

Based on a partial lowercase I designed in 2007 inspired by Einhorn, Eclat, Deftone Stylus, and Magneto. Contains full Latin, Latin-1, and Extended Latin A character sets. No Extended Latin B though (screw you, Vietnamese and Pan-Nigerian!)
UPDATED 24 February 2009: Fixed spacing (hopefully).

A retro cursive font. Any word will make a continuous line. To cap the front, use '~', to cap the end use '`',and make a space between words, use _. In previews some gaps may show between letters, but in actual use they do not appear.
