A work in progress. Quite simply a pixel modern roman typeface. The yogh (ȝ) I have designed as a mix between x and g. I thought of it as a latin letter gamma (ɣ) to distinguish it from the greek letter gamma (γ), but maybe it would do better as an insular g (ᵹ). What do you think? I have gone with a classic seriffed look for the greek letters. I have looked a lot at Times New Roman to see the stress of the different characters. Do my solutions work? Oh, and about the name: "Sprogreolen" is Danish for 'The Language Shelves', the pun being that "Bogreolen" would be 'The Bookcase' or 'The Book Shelves'.

I suddenly had a lot of time on my hands, which resulted in this font. The initial idea was to make a font inspired by the (handwritten?) signs in retail stores, but it quickly took a turn for the more comic.

This is a collection of letterforms chosen for their looks and not historical correctness, making a (hopefully) wonderful anachronism. I am still a bit undescided about some forms, such as the c and t (are they too plain?) and the x (is it too foreign?). Please pitch in with ideas.
The name "Eerie" I have chosen, because it is one of my favourite words of the English language. It consists of only common letters, but their combination is strange: So many vowels for one consonant, initial double e, final ie. A more "English" way to spell it would be "eary", but that, of course, would have another meaning. Even the sound of it is like a creaking door, making it very self descriptive.

I was re-watching Monsters Inc., and I just had to replicate the keyboard on the controlpanel for the door machine. I just love the shape of E (Eject) and how it links with L (L-arrow), and the unintuitive-ness of D (Down Arrow) and U (Up-Right arrow). The silly acronyms and symbols only help. Don't think it's at all useful, but it was a nice exercise :)

A collection of some typecrimes involving flipped letters. Not all uppercase letters are "criminal", the lower case is "right way up". The N is one of my pet peeves, because I've seen several buildings with upsidedown N's on them. The D, E and Z are almost too subtle to be noticed, but in some fonts it's more obvious than in others. The A, V and K have opposite stress. The Eng I included, because it has been typeset as an upside down capital G, when the typesetters didn't have the letter in their fonts.

This font is made for word games like scrabble, wheel of fortune, word search, crosswords. I have included a lot of digraphs and trigraphs that may be considered a single tile in some languages (according to this article: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scrabble_letter_distributions). Numbers 0-9 can be used to assign scrabble scores to the previous letter (since they are different for each language). 0 stands for 10 points.

I had this idea today: Make a font that writes numbers out with letters. Here it is, and it goes up to 999,999,999. Just remember to put commas to divide the thousands and millions, and end with a period :) I might make a German version.

A sudden stroke of inspiration made me do a pixel script font. Many of the letters connect through the bowl, and where it would be too cluttered, I have lifted the pen slightly, still hinting at a connection. The currency sign (¤) is a heart <3

I thought the round celtic/gaelic/insular forms of the latin letters would lend themselves well to a typewriter-esque font. Only later did I google it to find that Michael Everson is the king of this area. Now I should really get back to my exam paper.

I hope this qualifies as an inline ;) Each letter consists of one continuous line, zig-zagging back and forth to create the illusion of high contrast. The letters A, G, J, K, M, R, U, V, W, Y, Z have alternates in lower case. Other letters may need some more work.

Utilizing the propeller bricks to make curves with split ends. To make banner ends use (parentheses) and [square brackets], and use the underscore between letters to continue the banner. Here is an [e_x_a_m_p_l_e)

A low contrast serif pixel font for a kerning experiment. Lower case has less space before each letter. So to kern the word 'lovely' write "LOvELy" and the word 'away' should be "Away". Play around with it.

A font, in which every character consists of two or more interlocking shapes. Slightly inspired by Thalamic's "fs Six Sticks". I might do some alternates in the lower case area, and possibly also numbers. But I really shouldn't. Funny how creativity flows, when you should be doing something else :p

Just a simple one I had lying around. Bouma is the word for "word shape" as relating to the idea that we only read shapes of words. This sort of proves that we don't; we also rely on the letters themselves in decoding words.
