Thanks demonics for this forum providing me the occasion to show that if my work seems out of everything, actually it does not come from nowhere. In the decade preceding my signing here i collected many innovative out of norm fonts. Here are some of those which had a deep impact on what would become later my own typographic world. As i am now re-working the whole cycle of my fonts trying to push it at an even higher quality level, it's good to see once again "where i'm coming from"
@architaraz : "arista" is almost the only textfont i really like (they're so boring usually) and it's the one i use in my Big Book for the texts. The arista designers could find a surprising compromise between beauty, originality of shapes and perfect legibility and functionality at all sizes, without any fatigue on long text reading, what should categorize a textfont.
"What you prefer, mommy or dad?"... Well, I live with a lot of people more around me:... With a grandma, a grandpa, a niece, a cousin, a boyfriend or a girlfriend, a policeman or an iceman in their van... And with a lot of people making excellents fonts here at FS! What can I do more than this?
