Actually 4x3 (mainly), even 5x3 (punctuated). You can rather easily fix all this (art / style) to pack everything into a genuine (more usable) 3x3 font. Next we'd expect the digits. This time I won't ask for the lowercase, since your (perhaps derived) glyphs look enough tricky as is (that'd be too much of an effort I bet)…
