Thanks FK. I'm sure you'll have something better tucked up your sleeve.
Comment by djnippa 6th october 2010
this looks like an inventive combination of stacking and compositing. effects seem quite simple enough - which is part of the effect :) but your execution and the results are astonishing and definitely exceed the individual parts. remarkable. so my honest response to your very gracious remark is - why bother?
Comment by funk_king 6th october 2010
I've only just realised that the original Q was 36 pixels high! So I've changed it to be within the rules of the competition. The Original Q will be restored once the comp is over.

You are worth much, Master! This Challenge shows that they are too much good and great typographers in FS, and this will help all enormously! Congratulations for this great font! Others (like me) must still learn.
Comment by elmoyenique 19th october 2010

Fantastic work based on the profund understanding of the Fontstruct medium. Superb demo pics. Congratulations. 10/10
Comment by Frodo7 6th january 2011
Thanks guys, much appreciated.
I've tweaked nearly all the characters to incorporate the new stacking of composites function.
Comment by djnippa 26th january 2011
Wow it looks very different you should have cloned the old one. Just to stay on the safe side...
Comment by Drgrit 26th january 2011
It shouldn't do. It's basically the same, just with better overlapping. I didn't make a clone, as i knew it would change enough for me to worry about it. It may be the preview, that makes it look a bit more dramatic.
Comment by djnippa 26th january 2011
Heyyyyy Im not saying its bad I just think you should keep 2 of this great font.
But the new edit will definatly look even more like thread. Before it took half an hour to embroider something, thanks to you it takes half a second.
Comment by Drgrit 27th january 2011

It looks like you based those samples above off Clarendon. I like the strange and cool effect when used in text. 10+fav
Comment by Noah F. Ross (winty5) 22nd june 2014
You are correct. It was the closest to my original version (Bold with slabs), and with it being such a popular font, I thought people would instantly relate to it.
Comment by djnippa 22nd june 2014
I've got to do the various weights for it next!
Comment by djnippa 22nd june 2014
Oh my …! This is a beauty! Cool and elegant at the same time. …★★★… I love your samples.
Comment by beate 22nd june 2014
Yes ! I love this process of development and I'm curious about the results : )
Comment by beate 22nd june 2014
Can you please be a little less talented? You are putting others to shame. :-)
Comment by thalamic 23rd june 2014
Thanks Beate much appreciated.
Thanks Thalamic, I'll try to lower my standards next time - which should be quite easy knowing me. :)
Comment by djnippa 23rd june 2014
(Sorry)
Dear master: Don't listen to that guy named thalamic: he is a wolf in sheep's clothing, believe me. He is a genuine typo-man, he has glyphs in THEIR veins, not blood! Be careful, please!
Comment by elmoyenique 23rd june 2014
Unbelievable.

Seminário dos Missionários do Preciosíssimo Sangue

Comment by josepereira 15th may 2019

NOT SURE WHY josepereira would put a comment like this (Translated) on my font:-
SEMINAR OF THE MISSIONARIES OF THE HIGHEST BLOOD
He joined today (15th May), and is already making unusual comments!!!

Comment by djnippa 15th may 2019

"Blood" in connection with "missionaries" ... How does this relate to a beautiful font?

Comment by beate 15th may 2019

@Beate Exactly, why would they put that? It's so random.
@Qwerty399 - You seem to be missing the point of my comment, but thanks for the correct translation anyway :)

Comment by djnippa 16th may 2019

It's spam, y'all. No need to investigate further 😂

(Fantastic font, by the way!)
