it's a dotty deco. the name is a play on zoot suit. i did the uc and was satisfied that it worked as a display font. i had a bunch of lc dot fonts in the trunk and decided to pair up a few to see how they looked together. all share the same uc. that's the zoot suite.

Based on an unknown typeface which was used in the opening credits of The Terminator, The Running Man, Class of 1999, and also used on Robert A. Heinlein's book covers (there's a font called Heinlein which is similar). I've been looking for the original for a long time but haven't found it, so I recreated it myself.
I was thinking of something else and the thought "go forth and multiply" came to mind.
The word forth brought to mind 4th, with the 4 fully formed as seen here. So it had to be done. In the process, I've made the personal best smoothest fake circle yet on fontstruct, backed by a pixel-by-pixel matching of a real approximated circle in Ai.
Apparently, it is quite easy to forget what gets a fontstruction going. Something about ultra condensed bla bla bla. The rest is just a matter of having a creative activity to occupy the mind. And if in the process you can help out a friend, all the better.
