This my recreation of my own handwriting fontstructed with a vertical line/stripe pattern (I know it's bad calligraphy, but don't tell Claude Dieterich I did it, please).
I used a fountain pen 1.1mm stroke to get my samples written down in order to have a basis.
My UC leans slightly to the left and my lc to the right; must be the graffiti influence from way back in the day.
No wonder I only type nowadays...

Another script experiment, again with a pinch of blackletter, but also with a solid lacing of rock'n'roll... For the fun/easiness of it, this was done with pre-2.0-features only. Funny how this already gives is an old-school feel. :)
A lot of refinement is still to be done... Suggestions are, as always, welcome!
And I will probably add some more latin characters soon...

That's my handwriting. Scanned a piece of paper with a handwritten alphabet and redraw it as exactly as possible. I know it's sloppy but that's the effect I wanted and my handwriting is in fact very sloppy.

Very rough Script.
Vertical design with 45degres connection. Each individual glyph are unsightly but combine in words it has its charm.

Use Uppercase for the first letter of each word

All lowercase are connected.

Créme is the fontstruction of Deliciosa, a typeface I'm working on inspired on old portuguese letters.
Upper case and other characters to be added soon. I am constantly updating the characters at this point...This is a clone

A font based on my handwriting. This took ages to make (but was a good relaxant from all my studies cuz now is exam period >.<). It came as a surprise how grotesque my handwriting was -- in all meanings of the word.
BTW (in case you didn't know) the name is derived from the word 'ambidextrous'.

Yesterday afternoon I was sipping Coke on a sunny terrace and thinking about life, and the universe, when an idea came out of the blue about a new stencil font. The idea was so simple, I almost felt ashamed not having it much earlier. Back home I started to work on it, and created the first set of letters. It's a work in progress, fraught with imperfections, including the usual spacing-kerning problems. Remolino is a Spanish word for vortex. This is a clone

My final say on current competition. Jalgas (Жалғас, Zhalgas) is my name, it means continuation, adjacent. Same technique as in Aroth, but the result is hopefully different. Letters are also stencil, but islands appear when forming a word (e.g. "off"). In progress...

You can thank Funk King for evoking this out of me.
Included in the sample image is a silhouette of a move called the Backhand 1990, invented by yours truly as one of the founding members of Rock Force Crew in the SF Bay Area. Bust It!

I suddenly had a lot of time on my hands, which resulted in this font. The initial idea was to make a font inspired by the (handwritten?) signs in retail stores, but it quickly took a turn for the more comic.

Inspired by the works of geneus1 (especially Calligraphique).
I tried to go for sort of a mixture of black letter, chancery, and heavy metal. I love the way the & turned out (combining the E and t. For those of you who don't know, the ampersand is based off of the Latin word for "and", et), and especially the K and J.
By far, this is the best FontStruction I have ever, ever, EVER, EVER made. And probably ever will make.

Sort of like an old script, huh?
Feel free to clone it if you want to check it out. Feel free, also, to download it, if you want to make me do this face :), only in real life.
Any suggestions for the letters? As it stands, it's W.I.P., and if anybody has any suggestions, throw em out there.

This is my first typeface, it is based around the theme of "fluid". I was initially inspired by foreign alphabets/symbols/logograms. In particular, Arabic characters in a Chinese calligraphic style. While this start point could have lead to more experimental outcomes, I have chosen to keep the look simple so that it would be more versatile.

+++work in progress+++
The hardest one was "z" until i saw theres a cool solution made out of "a" :D However this in NOT inspired by 60ies, i was more thinking about Tattoo Art, or some kind of a slashing Samurai thingy... Thats maybe why i changed the name from "Dark Matter" to "Dark Shogun"

A small-grid handwritten font. This has lots and lots of faux-curves, thus using more than 180 different bricks and composites.Filters: 2x2Cap-height: 10 grid squares (5 bricks)x-height: 7 grid squares (3.5 bricks)

Combis (or Micros) are really small vans used as local Transport in Lima, my hometown.
They have a wide range of scripts that are manually painted to the sides to indicate the main streets or avenues the route includes.
Styles vary from combi to combi, even in the same company, as I believe they hire different letterers for the job.
I'm working on a little project to make some of them into a font set called Combi Stylus & I created a flickr set to show my inspiration sources.
This one is my FontStruct version for the set & it needs a lot of kerning, but well...
Enjoy!

Inspired by beate. My third ScriptComp entry. Some letters are more like 'connected italic' than a 'traditional' script. Press the grave accent to get the Th ligature.
UPDATES:07/11/13-???
I've added some ligatures and a few diacritics, as well as the ampersand & a few more punctuation marks. Currently working on more of Basic Latin, it may take me a while... V1.1.0
11/22/13 My first 100-downloads font! Thanks so much to everyone who downloaded.
12/13/13 I've gently smoothed the connections on most letters. V1.2.1

Little experiment of mine, trying to design a script font that really connects all the letters. As you might guess from the quality of the uppercase, I started with lowercase and had quite some trouble finishing the uppercase... And I know there are (obviously) always the connection strokes peaking out at the end any word, but funnily this imperfect look has started to grow on me during the fontstructing.
I also know there are still lots and lots of inconsistencies and letters that badly need a rework, but I thought the constructive criticism of my fellow fonstructors might be more helpful and efficient at improving this... So I'm grateful for any suggestions!:)
Oh, and yes: The kerning is very painful at times, but I can't see how I can improve that under the constraints of the script and the character forms. And obviously the script thing doesn't work with uppercase only text.
