Initially made for NW & SW European members' languages this typeface has grown over time to include glyphs for most European languages. My friend Ray will be happy to see Welsh and my friend Johneen can write in Maori :)
Thanks to TCWhite I've found the 2E2E point to place my favourite punctuation/symbol correctly.
I've sent this to be rewiewed for Google Fonts. Having done so I'm stuck, I don't know how to proceed there: how can I get people to look at it, comment?!
This is a clone of MasterClass 1Here's what not to do:
--Start an easy fontstruction to pretend you don't have time to do research assignment due last month
--Draw lowercase letters
--Change all letters to have slightly more personality
--Draw uppercase
--Change all lowercase to match the uppercase
--Draw numbers
--Change all uppercase to match numbers
--Change one letter so that it makes better auto-ligature
--Change all letters to have less personality
At this point, who knows how much time has been sunk into doing this "easy" fs and what it started out as. And unoriginal to boot. Forget it. Next!
Shazamurai! Opening day of Shazam! Fury of the Gods. Almost missed this one, but had an old lightning based font that matched. Plus, AI graphics is like soooo much cheating. WIP, couldn't decide on spacing so kerning had to wait.
This is a cloneI wanted to try some 'deformation' of the perspective used for italic glyphs. It was fun to try, the font looks amusing and the slants are irreverent enough. I know that a word processor could change Raysan into an italic style but a word processed Raysan would be too predictable and without creative spark.
Despite the purposeful changing of lines specially the curved sections which don't follow any "perspective rule" this font looks italic. It has a pleasant rythm in longer headlines etc, and gives eye catching 'splash' text when used with the parent font.
It took quite a while to finish, I constantly fought the wish to make composites and stacks to get the correct shape and directions into the curves.
This is a clone of RaysanBeeinflusst von Kem Weber (1889-1963)
A-Z on capital letters, alternate Q, S, X, and Z on their lower case positions.
I no longer publish samplers to illustrate my fonts as my samplers aren't wanted. It's nice that Meek publishes them for me; for competitions it seems important that members are made aware of contributions and I appreciate visually contributing and being part of the working community effort.
But I can't justify having to bother him with requests to publish my samplers that I designed only because I made a new weird font for my own reasons, hoping to get some (helpful) comments to point me towards improvements, additions etc.
This is [was] a minimum [http://fontstruct.com/fontstructors/minimum/public] font, created December, last year. Unfortunately, minimum account has developed some problems that prevents normal usage such as editing descriptions, downloading fonts, commenting, etc. Nevermind. He was useless anyway. :-)
Also, I can't seem to figure out how to create links either. This must be my dumb year.
The heavy version of Capsaicin released back in 2020. Adding thickness wasn't that straightforward due to brick limitations. Alternate construction methods were implemented on the glyphs to create similar inktraps without sacrificing the innate qualities of the typeface.
I would like to continue working on it to make it more visually consistent, but I'll stop at this moment or else it might be a perpetual WIP.
