Gorgeous, isn't it? This is a reproduction of a cross-stitch pattern from the French series of embroidery books "Maison Sajou". It dates to around the turn of the 20th century. After seeing such a beautiful, ornate pattern, I just had to convert this one to a font, a process that took several months. The design is made of intricate flower buds, stems, leaves, and check patterns. The design of the letters is similar throughout the pattern, however no two letters have exactly the same layout (for example, flower buds are facing a slightly different angle). Each letter is intertwined with a branch that winds its way up the letter, and features representations of leaflets and berries. The 'I' and 'W' were not present in the original design. 'J' doubles as 'I' and 'W' is a rotated 'M'. While I would love to make up numerals based on the current letters, it would be a daunting task as each letter is about a 100x100 size grid. Anyone is welcome to clone this font and give it a shot. This pattern was found on http://patternmakercharts.blogspot.com/2010/11/sajou-no-601.html . There are lots of Sajou and other embroidery patterns there.

This is a recreation of a cross-stitch pattern from the French series of embroidery books "Maison Sajou". It dates to around the turn of the 20th century. Each letter features a three-pronged leaf and curly serifs. The 'I' and 'W' were not present in the original design so I modified them based on 'J' and 'M'.     A recreation of a cross stitch pattern I found on Pintrest and originally from the Hungarian cross stitch site qtp.hu. Thanks to elmoyenique who designed the "I" and "Y" glyphs, which were not present in the original.

    The font used in on several screens in "JRR Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings - Volume One" on the SNES. The original font had a lot of anti-aliasing, but I think it turned out alright. It's a 7x13 monospaced font.

    A classy font from Sonic 2 (Genesis), this one is used for the titles of different zones throughout the game. I may have recreated a few of the letters a little wrong, as this font is somewhat big (13x14ish), but I think I got it very close.

    This is the italic text box font from Golden Sun and Golden Sun 2 (GBA). I saw a lot of requests for this font online, so I thought I would try to make it. I remembered this font well because most VG fonts are not in italics.

    Another font from Star Fox (SNES), this one appears at the end of the game displaying the statistics of each boss you defeated. The original appears as light blue with white in the upper-left and lower-right of each character. The "J" "Q" and "comma" glyphs were not present in the original, and were added by me. The name of the font comes from one of the more interesting bosses you face in the game...

    Font from Star Fox (SNES) used for radio conversation with your teammates. Numbers 0-9, comma, and double quotation marks were not in the original font, and were added by me. Also, the original font has Japanese katakana characters, but unfortunately I don't have time to add them. It's a nice little pixel font, don't you think? Gotta love the "Double exclamation mark".

    The font used for most text in Super Mario RPG. This was hand-drawn from a screenshot from the game so a couple of the characters might be off, but I have tried to be as accurate as possible. Of course, this is only the letters themselves, not with the blue outline that appears in the game.
