This typeface was named mesh because the minuscule white spaces create the illusion of light shining through a screen. The letter forms appear to have a tight mesh fabric stretched across them. The mesh makes this typeface seem like a light font, allowing a nice summer breeze to flow through it.

My typeface earned the name Robo because of its Robot like structure. The straight lines that form Robo resemble the geometric shape of a machine. I believe this is an important distinction of type because it illustrates the difference between curvaceous human handwriting and machine generated type.
