Replication of seven segment display as used in calculators and deigital clocks. Due to the limitations of the seven segment display, some characters such as "D" and "O" needed to be replicated so the same image represented different characters. Also, some letters such as "K", "M" and "W" could not be rendered, so manufacturers had to improvise. This is a clone

Re-fontstructed with composite bricks, finally an uppercase that works with this strange mash-up of a design. Latin-A is a mess of alternates and swashy ideas (for now). I may update them with proper diacritics, a suite of swash caps, and the rest of the characters from the original. Numerals need revising to fit the cap height. Enjoy this beta! This is a clone

Another script experiment, again with a pinch of blackletter, but also with a solid lacing of rock'n'roll... For the fun/easiness of it, this was done with pre-2.0-features only. Funny how this already gives is an old-school feel. :)
A lot of refinement is still to be done... Suggestions are, as always, welcome!
And I will probably add some more latin characters soon...

You can thank Funk King for evoking this out of me.
Included in the sample image is a silhouette of a move called the Backhand 1990, invented by yours truly as one of the founding members of Rock Force Crew in the SF Bay Area. Bust It!

I produced this for my "communicating with words" first year module on the BA(Hons) Graphic Design course at UWE Bristol, England. It pays homage to Ralph Steadman and is a true testament to what you can do on fontstruct, if you’re willing to spend a week in front of a computer in your underpants.
