This is a work in progress to produce a font capable of printing common katakana characters from Japanese. Because Katakana are usually romanized to two English letters, IE "ka","se","te" I made a "subtractive font". When one types the letter "k", the characters for "ka","ki","ku","ke", and "ko" appear. Then, when one types a vowel, a,e,i,o or u, a mask is applied that blocks out opposing vowel combinations. For the Katakana representing a i u e or o, just type the capital vowel.

A visual aide to learning the Braille Alphabet and numbers. May contain errors. Some people may find this method harmful or not helpful to their learning, so please be cautious. Also, it may help to design your own learning aide instead of using mine. This is a clone of Braille Level One

A method for jotting down music ideas. The querty keys are transformed into a music keyboard layout, with the numeric keys positioned where black piano keys would be, and querty for the white keys. Be sure add a space before you begin, because the glyphs are to the left.

An attempt to replicate a six key Braille entry system, as described here: http://www.dotlessbraille.org/braillewritingmethods.htm#sixkeyentry . It may contain errors. The following maps the querty keyboard to braille dots number positions: f-1,d-2,s-3,j-4,k-5,l-6. The space character or semi-colin is used to advance the cursor horizontally. It is possible that my mapping is incorrect or non-standard. This "font" is unique, because pressing s d f j k , or l does not actually advance the cursor. I dub this an "additive font". It may lead to irrational behavior in certain text editors. This is a clone

Braille Level One, no contractions. Please note that I am not a Braille expert and there are likely mistakes, and it is very hard to produce acceptable Braille using this font. This is more for fun. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS FONT AS A GUIDE FOR PRODUCING REAL BRAILLE IN ANY IMPORTANT SITUATIONS... Problems include: Not all punctuation is listed. Also, a number which is longer than one digit would not need to be prefixed with the number marker before every digit, only once. There are many conventions to Braille that this simplistic font will make hard to obey.
