Welcome to FontOut6!

Rules & Guidelines:

1) All FontStruct users may participate in FontOut, and can do so with a maximum of 10 entries each.

2) An entry in a FontOut is a picture or image on a specific FontStruct forum. It can also be a public font. There are no limits on licence.

3) The font must be tagged with "FontOut#" where '#' stands in for the specific number of the FontOut.

4) Every two weeks, a FontOut will be announced and participants can publish fonts or images within that two-week time period.

Ambigrams! In honour of truth14ful, in this competition, you must build a sample that can be read upside down and right side up. See truth14ful's font fs Gaux Ambigram for inspiration. Entries must be created using FontStruct.

The last time you can upload a sample is 12th August 2012. Voting starts on that date.

@Isaiah Garcia // An ambigram is actually a word you can read both ways. For example, in your first sample, only "font" can be read from right-side-up, and "struct" just looks like a random glob.

Look at Yautja's sample. Notice how either way, it says the same thing.

I'm not saying you have to do this, but it may increase your samples' popularity.

Good luck & hope your neck doesn't get sore from looking at your fonts upside down :-)

@elmoyenique // That's true. Why don't you try something different? I think I have been clogging up the live feed waaaay too much lately, so I'm trying to focus less on comments and more on building fonts. I may have time and energy to make a different sample, but I don't know. We'll see. Keep going, everyone. Be creative!

Hi everyone //

I'm in a bit of a dilemma. I'll be leaving on a trip on Saturday and won't be back until Tuesday. This means I cannot manage FontOut6/7 on Sunday.

There are two options as I see it:

1 End the FontOut on Saturday morning. Start FontOut7 that morning.

2 If another FSor wants to volunteer to manage it, I'll PM you instructions.

I also need ideas for the topic of the next FontOut. Thanks!
