A simple basic font without 'frills', except for a few lines (just to make it stand out a bit) to break the straight lines one might see on first glimpse ;) I'll use it to develop other fonts from. I think this is different from my other fonts: less 'decorative' more 'utilitarian'.

It's great to see you trying new things (although your decorative fonts are always fun).

I think you need to make sure that your characters are at the same X-height. Having said that, curved letters such as C, O, Q tend to exceed the X-height and bottom line slightly - this is called the overshoot.

To help with those pesky curves you might like to clone my 'toolbox' ... http://fontstruct.com/fontstructions/show/all_bricks_6 (the best selection are on 'D')

@ p2p: thanks for the link, I'll use your tools :) I have done the Cs, Os and Qs, and corrected the bad x-heights. I changed the k. Are there any other problems?
