You have put so much work into this that I am hesitant about commenting. However, I think the opposing diagonals of the UC and lc make this a bit discordant. Perhaps it would be better to have two fonts - one with left to right diagonals and one vice-versa.

I think you're probably right. I did a-e with the other stroke. Another fontstructor's opinion would be highly appreciated before I go and change all of them over to this way (so I don't spend too much time on this for nothing.)

I really like this font! Sometimes contrasts bring out readability, especially if the spacing is close as this one is.
