For the f you can go under the baseline if that can help to have a nice design.
X need to be review the the slab will look better if it goes on each side of the diagonales

search for SLAB and SLAB SERIF you'll find many great fonts build with FS

X and x are now changed. x looks much better. f is also done and naturally forms a ligature in fi and fl. It's a pity we can't control kerning in FS.
