The Therapoda (three-toed dinosaur) alphabet, from James Gurney's Dinotopia (with additional characters for a full-stop and a query, made up for my son's sake, "something a dinosaur could scratch in the sand").

@gmcomp - I'm glad you like it. But James Gurney is really the one to thank. After my son made a book where all his Therapoda text was handwritten, I also looked all over for a true-type font I could download for him and found another Dinotopia font here on FontStruct. But when my son spotted a few errors in the other submission, I made these for him and submitted it privately. I asked Mr. Gurney for permission to share it publicly, and he gave me permission with two conditions: 1) it can only be shared for free, and 2) a few words are fine, but he doesn't want to receive letters overrun with dinosaur footprints. :)
BTW - this site is great. If you can't find a font you want online, you can always make it yourself with no experience or knowledge whatsoever. I love it!
I did remember this font and was wondering where I knew it from. Then I read your Description … Thank you very much for reminding me of one of the best books I ever hold in my hands! Thank you so much for rebuilding this, 10/10
@Tylo My son asked me to look for this font for Word because it was so difficult to write by hand. When I couldn't find one, I was so glad to find FontStruct. It IS so COOL!
I didn't even know about Dinotopia until my son and I met James Gurney by accident last year. We saw him again a few months later at a book signing, and the following day he approached us to say hi, calling my son by name, and chatting a bit about the drive home before we went our separate ways. As impressed as I was with his beautiful paintings and illustrations and his knowledge of paleontology, I was even more impressed by the kindness he showed to my son on more than one occasion. Anyone can sign an autograph, but it takes someone special to make a child feel like he actually cared. :)
