Sorry ampbc, not trying to be heavy with you ... I accept that you had acknowledged BD BRick (so you were not trying to pass it off as original). My main point was that (having experimented with FS) you can now have the fun of creating your own designs.
Yeah for sure I will try to create my own :) I'm Jordan btw. Yesterday I tried to create the font that is used in the "Audioslave" logo. I ran into trouble right off the bat. I hat being "that newb" but how do you make the curves longer? look at the pics, and I'm hoping its just me being stupid lol!
I personally dislike the buro destruct version. The changes that I made make me like this font. Although I am not yet finished making this (lowercase, some punctuation) I still like my version better. And its free (:
You're welcome! I decided to chosse your font, but before I download your font, you need to finish the lowercase and some punctuation. Will you add the accented vowals (á, à, ê, ã, ä, é, è, ê, ë, í, ì, î, ï, ó, ò, ô, õ, ö, ú, ù, û and ü), ç and ñ?
Hey, buddy, can you make a futuristic and modern unicase sans-serif font that Vancouver 2010 was using, for us? You can imitate that, but don't imitate excessively, change just the forms.
Are you talking about this font (in image below)? The VanOC's version of BD Brick did not use any lower-case letters. Therefore, I don't know what they look like. A temporary solution could be for me to make the lowercase letters smaller but with the same glyphs. The Sans-Serif font that VanOC used for the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics is called NeoSans. As for me making it, well, I am having major problems with just making simple curves on the uppercase A from my Audioslave font. I can however help you out with obtaining the font. Email me @ jordancameron@rocketmail.com
It is a rip off of our BD Brick font and it should be deleted on the server. The BD Brick version that is used by the Vancouver Olympic Committee is here: http://www.typedifferent.com/font-bd-brick/?list=1

A useful way to learn the tools of FontStruct - now let's see your designs :)
Is it this font:

I intend to use your font for my blog or buy that font only after my birthday.
But what is the best font: yours or BD Brick from Buro Destruct?
