This is not too small and you did a good job except for 2 details I think : Iwould have reversed exactly the M for the W, and I would have adapted the spacing of the I.
I recently worked on really too small grid : just check out my 2 versions (vertical and horizontal) of Less is more based on a strict 2x5 grid, I liked the challenge to have a "middle" possible only on one direction, but the best compromises are somehow very queer; Be my guest if you have alternate good solutions for my 2 Less is more ! But I warn you, these grids are REALLY too small ! Welcome in Minimal Land !
