typophilus50 left this comment on The I, "Remarkable how the original, when expressed, seems so inevitable!" and that's what I thought when I saw this.

Awesome geneus1!

Wow! A great design for a NASCAR theme. I can almost smell the smoking tires and gasoline of Daytona 500. 10/10

Fast and Furious. Great addition to the competition, Gene.

Thanks for all the comments, guys.

@thalamic. There are many fontstructions I've created that follow that same expression, but its only after a lot of trial and error. Only then does it become obvious for me.

@aphoria. That workaround you did for full screen editing with shortcuts in Firefox was awesome. It gives me hope in going back to work with some of the large fontstructions I've given up on. Working in Google's Chrome browser gave the largest workspace, but I always had load time problems to deal with. Thanks for posting that tip.

Glad I could help dude. I only wish I would have mentioned it sooner...I guess I kinda assumed if I figured it out, everyone else must have too. :)

@geneus1: Love the font. After seeing your success, I am seriously tempted to alter my Chevy font, Blazer Of Trails, into an oblique set similar to what's on my older vehicle.

Also, could you or Aphoria re-explain the Firefox workaround in greater detail? I saw it commented upon a few days ago, but now I can't seem to find Aphoria's original comment concerning the two-windows / two-tabs concept.

I think a great idea would be to have a centralized location where user can be post their FontStruct hints and tips -- something like Brickstacking link in the FAQ, but where users could upload their discoveries for others (as opposed to having them buried in the comments of individual fonts).

Sure...to get keyboard shortcuts to work in full screen mode open a blank tab (or pretty much any site besides FS) and put the browser into fullscreen mode (press F11 in most browsers). Now, switch to your tab with FontStruct (or open a new tab and go to FontStruct).

@Aphoria: thanks for the tip!

@aphoria: Thanks for putting up the info here too.

@Goatmeal: Glad I could be of some inspiration. Until brickstacking becomes an official software feature, I'm not sure about its support being provided on the website. Although, I am working on something that should help.
