@Goatmeal: Thank you for your comment and generous rating. I believe it was a big deal because Fontstruct — although modular by nature — is not very Truchet-friendly. The tile sets are shown under each tiling to demonstrate how complex patterns emerge from a few simple tiles. However, I could not make custom bricks for each tile, which would have made my job a lot easier. Instead, every trick in the book was used to achieve the perfect look (filters, custom bricks, and nudging).
The next challenge is to build multi-scale Truchet patterns. I'm not sure whether it's possible with Fontstruct, or not, but we'll soon find out.
@faux_icing: Thank you for your kind words. You are right: I plan to build a font using one of these patterns. It won't be the very first Truchet-tiles font, however. I have to do something better. Sadly, the summer heatwave slows me down.
@elmoyenique: Thank you. The last sample is a new pattern created three days ago. It is suitable for labyrinths/mazes (with crossings).

Nice Tiles!
At last, I cracked the technical challenge of making Truchet tiles on Fontstruct. Enjoy it.
@Frodo7 - A masterful achievement! Congratulations on your breakthrough. :^)

Super-interesting work!
This make to remember to the FS Patterns.
Fascinating and beautiful!
Totally agree with four.
I would add "mesmerizing" to it as well.
Great stuff Frodo7!
Elmoyenique, TypoMan Foundry, Four, and Aphoria: thank you for your comments and ratings. I really appreciate them.
@aphoria: It's good to have you around.
Multi-scale Truchet tiling.
Fascinating fractalization!
@Rob Meek: Thank you for the special mention/TP. It made my day.
Congrats on the TP! These are some wicked cool patterns. Pretty sure you can work out some amazing typefaces with the multi-scale one.
Congratulations, Maestro! Nice last sample.
Oh wow, beautifully dangerous! ; )
