Nice concept. Perhaps |a| and |e| are a bit too similar?
@elliotshock - I agree with @riccard0 about the a & e. How about something like this?

@elliotshock - You are most welcome. Because they are the only two lowercase letters, I thought perhaps they could 'stray' a little from your design... ;^)

If you want to grab it to use later, don't wait for too long, because eventualy will remove it again.

Thank you very much @Sed4tives! These are some amazing updates on the letters. You basically made an entirely different font at this point. I have added some of the designs I liked into the font. Means a lot coming from one of my favorite fontstructors :)
