The actual design isn't mine, it's a collaboration by some people for the Battle for Wesnoth. I've just done the typesetting... it's explained on the site forums.
I may try my hand at a proper blackletter hand - which would be a similar challenge - but at the moment I'm starting work on a more advanced Steelhand font (proper kerning, ligatures etc).

Any intention to apply this concept to the latin alphabet?
