Have you thought of making the K a bit more like the X, also the cross bar on the A looks a little high, same as B, P & R, and also the up tail on the J looks a little long. I've done some examples below.
Also on closer inspection you need to look at the Brick Stacking technique. It will resolve a lot of your problems.
I wondered about the 'J', but thought I'd see what came out from having it (and the 'G') at the same height as the cross bars ... I think I might give it a few days then overhaul the font a bit.
I have only been Fontstructing for a few weeks and I'm already hooked.
Right, I'm off to try out stacking a few bricks :)
I have been using it on a second version of Alphabox and it just makes everything sooo right.
A massive thank you to djnippa for putting me on to it.
I can't remember who told me, but how pleased was I .... very pleased.
As another tip. You can Brick Stack to the left, down & Up, rather than just the right as I've illustrated.
It really does turn Fontstruct into a far more creative tool.
Sorry to see the upset over Neopolicia ... it's a considerably cleaner, more usable font than Grant.
I'm fairly new to this myself... many many sleepless nights await us, I'm sure.
chr.s ... I suspect FS should carry a health warning "Fontstructing can be seriously addictive"
I have created 'Alphabox Basic' which is a cleaner version (thanks to djnippa's advice on brick stacking) and think I will concentrate on variations of that - rather than trying to fix the many problems on this original effort.
