Gradual was designed with the theme ‘disintegrate’ in mind from the beginning. By experimenting with physical type (pictured below) I was able to create a disintegrating text that appears to be slowly fading away.

Using the pixels on fontstruct to create the disintegrating look the font comes across looking slightly retro and obscure. I feel like this typeface could be best used on promotional materials for specialist events such as music events, signage within shops or other public places, book covers and film posters or any other print or digital media which has similar themes as the typeface itself.
