It is themed 'dynamic', however once i started research and mind mapping i went more in the direction of dynamic dance and movement; which is what lead me to looking at ribbons and ballet. I wanted to bring the letterforms back towards the dynamic theme, so decided to make the sides and corners more angular. With some of the letters i tried to create a joined up handwriting feel, inspired by the way that ribbon floats and would fall if it was making the letters naturally. This%20is%20my%20first%20Fonstruction%20whilst%20studying%20my%20degree%20in%20Graphic%20Design%20at%20UWE.%20It%20is%20themed%20%27dynamic%27%2C%20however%20once%20i%20started%20research%20and%20mind%20mapping%20i%20went%20more%20in%20the%20direction%20of%20dynamic%20dance%20and%20movement%3B%20which%20is%20what%20lead%20me%20to%20looking%20at%20ribbons%20and%20ballet.%20I%20wanted%20to%20bring%20the%20letterforms%20back%20towards%20the%20dynamic%20theme%2C%20so%20decided%20to%20make%20the%20sides%20and%20corners%20more%20angular.%20With%20some%20of%20the%20letters%20i%20tried%20to%20create%20a%20joined%20up%20handwriting%20feel%2C%20inspired%20by%20the%20way%20that%20ribbon%20floats%20and%20would%20fall%20if%20it%20was%20making%20the%20letters%20naturally.%20

A typeface inspired by the word 'Dynamic'. The letters are made up of individual DNA molecules. I focused mainly on Molecular Dynamics in terms of inspiration, but i also feel 'dynamic' represents the way in which objects or people interact with one another, therefore i feel the overlapping spheres produce an image that is relevant in different ways.
