Here is the fourth -- and final -- unique font to come from the ImageWriter II. I had a bit of difficulty trying to copy this from a standard printout using my ImageWriter II's without manipulation. Each character in the ImageWriter II's "Near Letter Quality" (NLQ) mode jammed a 16x14 character into what would normally be an 7x7 template.
I wound up figuring out that the ImageWriter printed each character's odd-numbered pixel rows before printing out the even-numbered pixel rows. Ultimately, I caught a rather (un)lucky break after the printer would mess up after the odd-numbered pixel row printout. This worked out because I was able to separate the alternating rows, then I spliced them back together.
Getting back to the font's attributes, ImgWriter NLQ, much like my previous ImgWriter entries, features characters that were not a part of the original design -- accented capital letters, the "fi" and "fl" ligatures, the yen and Euro symbols, fractions, et. al. The only character in this font that is not monospaced is the ellipses (or "dot-dot-dot"); this was made to be a double-spaced character to cut down on the white space between periods.
Enjoy!
--------
2014.04.15: Small update includes combining diacritic marks; this was done to circumvent a bug in some Mac programs where the accented characters wouldn't appear correctly after typing in Option+N then N, for example.
(Last updated on 2013.05.06: Includes a greatly expanded character set.)

All of the curves are "real" curves using the curved bricks.
Using 2x2 filters,
- The x-height is 8 grid squares.
- The cap height is is 11 grid sqaures.
- The descender height is 3 grid squares.
- The widths vary, but for reference, the lowercase o is 9 grid squares wide.
I also included many ligatures. They are stored in the Extended Latin A character set.

OK.
Here's "VUVUZELA"
A typeface inspired by the continent of africa, but mainly by the WorldCup of soccer 2010 in South Africa!
To catch on of the strongest associations for me relating to africa, i chose black and white stripes, maybe to remind of zebras or other animal patterns. But the effect also stands for the "swoosh" of a ball flyin by, for just the the "sporty" feel i wanted it to have.
Enjoy it.
There's an alternative "a" on "="

First time using Fonstruct. Font designed around the theme of decay, focusing on derelict buildings and areas where nature has begun to take over. Whilst loosely based on the somewhat derelict font, Times New Roman.
Welcome any feedback.
(work in progress; mainly letter 'R')
Best viewed zoomed in slightly.

Square meets slab. Inspired by "FF Tsunami" by Donald Beekman. My variant is more stiff and mechanic. Adds some alternative/lower case characters.

My very first serif font. First dreamt about the "u" one year ago, FS 2.0 made it possible.
Inspiration comes from classic fonts like Georgia, Optima, Times.
Bonus feature: "f" kinda automatically ligature :D
Not yet satisfied with k, t, x, z, comments/help welcome!

This is my first font. It was inspired by the logo of my local soccer team, but I went in a completely different direction with the curves. Let me know how it works for you. If anyone wants more extended Latin, just ask.
Update 7/15/10: Added the basic Greek alphabet

Legere. Latin root of the word 'legible.' An attempt at an original legible serif typeface. No single reference used, but I did keep the Serif section of the FontBook always open. After finishing the letters, it guess it resembles Melior or Renault.
Somewhat inspired after caliopigio released Formal Roman. Maximization of composite angles were used to hammer out smooth curves in a smaller grid space. Cap height=42. I know I can make it smoother by working at twice the size, but at this point, fuggeddaboutit.

Another fat-heavy-black-squarish font, but with little slab serifs thanks to FontStruct 2.0 features.

Clone of Seriface. The original Seriface was attempted without the additional angles provided by the new FS2.0 features. It was awful. The size was increased and faux-bezier curves were maximized via the combination of 1:2 filtration and composite bricks. Now its beautifully awful.

First fontface ever done for uni brief dealing the theme 'sharp'.
After some research i found out that a sharp is also a lunar impact crater and decided to build this font around this idea. The stripes are also a reminder of noise as a sharp is also a very high pitch note...
Feedback welcome!

Pixel font that forms part of a bigger pixel font project (both literally and metaphorically speaking: you'll see). ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ This font will be experimenting heavy changes in the future, mostly in more characters, I already marked what Unicode groups I'll be covering with this font by doing the first 2 glyphs in them. I also made the Ttha glyph just for this: ఠ_ఠ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ The name comes from mixing "Pixel" and "Caslon", even though I didn't even take Caslon as a reference. I just thought the word game was cool enough.
