This design was inspired by bubble letters and block letters.
Combining round edges to sharp edges creates a satisfying bubble block typeface. The highlight in the type create the illusion of a more rounded typeface.
A blocky, somewhat futuristic, mostly sans-serif font. All latin characters are in square dimensions. Lower case letters are a third of the size of upper case letters. It was developed with my 2019 spelling reform proposal for European languages in mind, and therefore may posess and/or lack some features unexpectedly.
This is a cloneModified clone that provides a style variation to the previously published Jurriaan Schrofer font revival I did, called "STF_SATER (Isometric)".
The earlier version I did was in fact amongst my very first font designs ever, and at this stage I still had about zero real typographic background knowledge.
Due to this I simply went out copying the exact lettering 1:1 as was seen in the source that I used. Not realizing that the angle of projection applied to the lettering in the original would render my font next to useless.
So I ended up with cool looking isometric letterforms that were heavily handicapped in a full font.
This time I overhauled the original and got rid of its isometric nature and simply just making it a regular, fully upright style.
Now with this addition it finally becomes a truly functional font at last.
I hope you like it !
This is a clone of STF_JS-SATER (ISOMETRIC)How to use:
Each letter is mapped based on KSX 5002 keyboard, which is the most common way to type korean. It is modified so that it can distinguish between jongseong(under) letters and choseong(upper) letters. Here is how it is mapped:
( [a,b] [a,b,c] a:original key b:mapped letter c:shifted letter )
So basically how it mapped is:
1. Everything except for jongseong letters is mapped the same
2. Jongseong letters are mapped in shifted key, except for ㅂ, ㅈ, ㄷ, ㄱ, ㅅ which already has shifted key (double letters). jongseong letters of ㅂ, ㅈ, ㄷ, ㄱ, ㅅ are mapped in 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and ㄲ, ㅆ's are mapped in $, %.

Q, J, Z, All numbers except 1 and all symbols I designed. W is M flipped upside-down. The rest are from the example signs.
In paint.NET, size 4.5 fits each character perfectly.
I've had a specific font in mind for a design project for a while now, but I haven't been able to find anything like it online so I decided to try and replicate it myself. Using this font in Blender with an 'offset' value of about 0.20 yields pretty much the exact same font I was imagining, which is good enough for me :)
(fortunately I won't ever need to use a V or Z in the aforementioned project!)
Inspired by the glass commonly used to drink coffee in "Warung Kopi". Warung Kopi are traditional coffee stands found in Indonesia. People (mostly men) often spend their time chatting, smoking, drinking coffee, or eating traditional snacks in these stands. These stands are often very simple, but provide a kind atmosphere to socialize with others..
This font is based on the combination of a local culture and a traditional food. With combining thick and thin strokes, with adding a little bit of "tail" on the end of every glyphs, this font have a certain goal, which is to show the beauty of a city called Lamongan which is famous for it's traditional food: Pecel Lele.
Comments and critics are very welcomed. Thanks!:)
