A little experiment with the "connect" bricks (and an healty dose of stacking). I wasn't referencing any specific example of the style (of which there are many), but I'm sure that, looking for solutions as I went, I ended up with something similar to already existing typefaces (and fontstructions).
Unfortunately, some connecting bricks don't align exactly, so I had to resort to approximate them, when possible, with more stacking, which didn't particularly help the already lacking consistency in construction.
But enough moaning, enjoy!
My final entry in the competition. Inspired by Mazey, zlabyrinths eYe/FS, and wavelength. Each glyph has its own maze, and each maze connects with the next. Tilde ~ and low line _ connect words, grave ` closes beginnings and ends, and the left and right arrows < > are for the start and end. There are also some alternates in Extended Latin A. Suggestions and critiques are welcome. Thanks!
UPDATES:
04/06/14 The whole font has been updated to be one brick taller, and thus properly fit onto a grid. Also, some characters have been redesigned. V2.0
05/13/14 All punctuation has been modified to continue a word maze. V2.1
07/05/14 1000 downloads! Hooray! As a 'thank you', I've completed more of More Latin. V2.2
08/22/14 I've made the accents part of the maze. I've also changed a few characters, and added Œ and œ. V2.3
08/04/15 Added Polish support with Ą, Ć, Ę, Ł, Ń, Ś, Ź, and Ż. Tweaked a few characters as well, and added a crossbar to the ð. V2.4
06/18/16 Added support for multiple languages with more Cyrillic chars and punctuation. Also tweaked a few chars.
A doodle made with Brick Basket.
This has many uses! It works as a pixel font or a high-res one, and can generate a surprising range of visual effects.

Another tribute to the great Dutch graphical designer/pioneer "Jurriaan Schrofer".
This time I didn't do a straight foreward recap of a specific work from the great man, but rather had myself inspired by a number of his sketches and combined those ideas all into this type! (Nonetheless ofcourse still heavily inspired by..)
Here are a few of the original works I drawn inspiration from:
"A.S.C. COMMUNICATIONS, SEMINOTICS, SIGNAGE SYSTEM PTT 1975 (Dutch Post Office) , BEURS VAN BERLAGE, UNREADABLE ALPHABET"
This is a clone of STF_JS-SANS SEVERE (MULTILINE)With this font I am late to the competition, but I still love Art Deco a lot.
This is a cloneA chimera (fusion) which combines inline-versus-outline, maze, Gemscript, and other techniques to produce a timeless look.

Original size: 6.75pt (use multiples of this value for pixel perfection)
Design Rules:
1. Square bricks only.
2. A 1px soft border of negative space must exist between lines whenever possible.
3. Glyphs must fill the 9x9 grid to the greatest extent possible given the rounded style.
4. The set of glyphs shall be a heterogeneous mix of symmetrical and asymmetrical forms.
5. Negative space will replace positive in any situation wherein the small grid size or the geometry of a letterform would be detrimental to the chosen style. This includes all situations where any shape lacks at least a soft 1px border of negative space around it.

Recap from one of the alphabets originally designed by Dutch graphical designer "Jurriaan Schrofer".
The Letters were Originally designed for the "Giro" office building floor plan!

This is the high-res. outlined style variation in the "ETAGE AANDUIDING" typeface family.
Enjoy!
This was unnecessarily hard to make. Most of the glyphs are drawn with continuous line. Each letter might have other ways of achieving the same continuous effect. But the main purpose of this fonstruction is to request some bricks from staff, I'll mention them in the comments. Thanks.

This is a clone of Bicycle"Mythical Bursts" is an anagram of "Bismuth Crystal". The design is inspired by said crystals as well as Mayan/Aztec carvings (or at least, the comparatively simple forms they have in popular media) and sgraffito art in which a surface is scratched off to reveal a contrasting material underneath.
12SEP2018: I've edited every glyph in order to disconnect the letterforms from their enclosing shapes. This makes the font much more readable and consistent.

Thanks again to Isaiah Garcia for sharing More Curves.
Thin (multi-) stroked art deco type design.
The name derived from the fact that it is a thin stroked art deco design with little to no fancy decorative features, other than its multi-line segments. Hence the name "ART ECO"
The fontstruct preview making some diagonal strokes look slightly thicker than the horizontal and vertical ones due to it's behaviour on brick stacking. Which isn't in the TTF font itself.
Uppercase characters only
