a little something I had in my head for quite a while already, finally decided to try and make it in Fontstruct.
No kerning done right now, but maybe some time later I'll do it. though even without the kerning it looks nice in my opinion.
Feel free to clone and see how it was done. (some glyphs like { are quite messy though)
also may redo some glyphs in the future.
UPDATE: cyrillic done
Inspired by Briem Script.
I am very proud and happy that I have been awarded a staff pick starfish. ⭐️
Arabic is basic, only Arabic and Urdu are supported. Alternate samvat forms for 2, 3, and 5 digit years are in PUA. If you wanna remove the notch in the U+16AEC, then use U+E000.
Only lowercase Georgian mkhedruli is supported.
My ratings dropped from 9.10 to 8.57??? omg these trolls are ANNOYING
@AFontAbove No, this is Patrick.
Made with the well-known Grafilone typeface (by Bo Berndal) in mind, but more elongated and avoiding its curious roughness. In addition to the basic set of glyphs, some special ones have been added and the Cyrillic alphabet has also been included. The ligatures "ff" and "tt" are located on the characters "ff", "fi" and "fl". Enjoy it, please.
It's called ajicis because it is built upon the letters done for the wallpaper of Wipeout 3 game team AG Sys. It has the same grid structure but the letters look nothing like the original.
Also, this FS'tion was started on the phone (because I was too lazy to get off the bed and go to the computer). When I saw potential in the created letters, it was saved and opened on the iPad. The rest of the fs was done there. The only thing that couldn't be done on the iPad was adjusting of a composite brick. (It was fixed on the laptop days later.) So, 98% iPad.
@RobMeek: The iPad version worked well. However, Menu->Edit->Copy, Menu->Edit->Paste, etc. got tedious. Can we have the menu commands in icon form docked or floating somewhere on (in?) the tablet version? The icons can be half the size of the Tools icons to save space. Also, can the tools and zoom be docked as well on the tablet version? It would be helpful. Thanks.

Based on an old glyph by the magnificent and always amazing Master geneus1. Caps only. You can find an extra A at the "a" glyph and a little C placed at the "®". See also the grey version.

Usually I design fonts from a general concept I have in mind and start with the Latin alphabet first since I am most familiar with these characters. Then when I have completed these I start adding extra language support. letting everything evolve from there on out into the other languages such as Cyrillic or Greek. Doing it in this fashion I find myself having the best change of doing a decent job designing characters I am not familiar with the right way and in line with the design parameters.
This time I starten designing the Cyrillic alphabet first, trying not to think about the Latin set design at all. I did this in an attempt to have a neutral mindset that wasn't influenced in doing it a certain way.
And I must admit, this was the best and most comfi time I ever did a Cyrillic set. I experienced a sense of having a lot more freedom for creative output.
The result became this cool looking "hell knows" what kind of style letterforms. I have no clue if I actually did a decent and accurate job at the Cyrillic set, and I'm not sure where to go from here on out either.
I hope you like it so far
Cheers

This is a cloneBy popular demand, I'm very proud to present you this recreation/digitization of Maxim Zhukov's Meander (an experimental modular type design from 1972, which was used in cover artworks for Stereolab's Dots and Loops album and Miss Modular EP).
Now supports Cyrillic characters and includes other custom-made glyphs, like numerals and punctuation marks.

With this font I am late to the competition, but I still love Art Deco a lot.
