A year ago or so, Neoqueto, who created here some of the most beautiful futuristic fonts, offered me a 26 glyphs tribute font named Neuroszaijba (http://www.fontstruct.com/fontstructions/show/374044). It used a very weird and creative set of composites which made me want to experiment with in a personal way. So, more than a simple "thank you" i began to respond creatively to the work. When the UC were finished, i had the madness to push the experiment further and add real Lc, numbers, punctuation and diacritics, what seemed a quasi mission:impossible with such a tiny grid and such weird components and esthetic, but i did not abandon despite the difficulty, and i must say i'm pretty happy with the resullt. It has a sort of weird hanwritten quality in small sizes, but when you zoom in, my usual faces and characters hidden in the glyphs can appear. Recently, preparing the AFT version, i figured out that working creatively with filters and redrawing glyphs slightly differently, i could make a darker version, and a more distorted version, each with their unique personality, they form now the Rankle Triptych.
