I liked the idea of playing with the different sqare bricks to represent the different parts of each glyph, in order to achieve moire effects. I tried to darken the more characteristic part of each character.The%20whole%20font%20was%20designed%20from%20the%20e%20featured%20in%20IR%20CitySquare.%20I%20liked%20the%20idea%20of%20playing%20with%20the%20different%20sqare%20bricks%20to%20represent%20the%20different%20parts%20of%20each%20glyph%2C%20in%20order%20to%20achieve%20moire%20effects.%20I%20tried%20to%20darken%20the%20more%20characteristic%20part%20of%20each%20character.

It's based on the Stedelijk Alphabet, used in a poster for an exhibition at the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam (picture in the comments section). The font has already been extended and released by a foundry : http://www.foundrytypes.co.uk/foundry_architype_3/archi_3_stedel.html, and by several fontstructors : see Getting Away With It - Kerned by Goatmeal, Amsterdam by fizgig, Wim Crouwel 68 by sc0ttwats0n and Steadelijk by delicraig.
