This is just lower case a-m for download. I have prepared it already in the afternoon. Sorry guys, but it was not possible to release even the first 26 glyphs in one piece. I had to erase all other punctuation marks as well to make it work. It is a tedious task to erase large glyphs, takes a fair amount of panning. And it is saddening too to see those letters vanishing. To make things worse, once you open the font there is a horde of F logotypes intersperced in the text, rendering it nearly useless to evaluate. But let's consider the positive aspect: I have finally managed to harvest the first few bits of my work from FS.

The 16 characters you are able to share is very revealing of how massive this fontsruction is. Here's the fastest way I know to delete large glyphs quickly without panning, using only keyboard shortcuts:

1. Press a to select all on the current glyph.
2. Press x to cut.
3. Right Arrow key to go to the next glyph. You don't even have to wait for the visual delete, just immediately move on to the next character.

well my friend, perhaps an unkind cut, but not the unkindest :) we could share a drink over this one and my tessellation 2. but we should be encouraged as in the past the fs team has risen to the occassion and fixed any dl problems that existed with fonts due to size. but perhaps we are truly pushing the limits of the program. i use the technique geneus described a lot. you can really knock them out fast, but when the file is large i have encountered problems with the program sometimes not saving what i thought was deleted and i've had to go back and re-delete. but at least you have made it available. it seems that using any capable font editor will allow someone to combine your 2 files into 1 although i've never done it. i think the biggest reservation i have whenever this happens is - will it happen on my next one or do i need to rethink or limit my designs. of course it never hurts to be as economical as possible when fontstructing, but sometimes the muse does not allow it :)

@geneus1: very useful keyboard shortcuts. Thanks.

@funk_king: Is it a reference to the infamous Bobbit case? :)))
