Ah, Square's "Chrono Trigger" (1995) on the SNES has not one, but two separate fonts on the go. This is the proportional font, used for all dialog boxes and in-battle status messages.
I've expanded the special characters a bit to make it a tad more useful, keeping the (slightly jarring, thin, anemic, and not quite vertically balanced) style of the original.
And in case you think "hey, this font looks strangely familiar"...turns out the bulk of the characters are a very close approximation of Susan Kare's venerable Chicago.

Great job! I just installed it and found that it makes an even closer substitute for Chicago if you condensed it 87%. :-)
I'm glad to find a version of the Chrono Trigger font that I can properly use in my games! Thank you so much, and for releasing it as CC-BY. I use it for the lyric subtitles in track 2 of Refactor, at http://fluffy.itch.io/refactor
(I was using someone else's rendition before but its license was muddled.)
This font also looks like the one in NHL 95 on DOS.
