Bold tie is based on the sophistication of the bowtie. Black tie events have always inspired me to look my best and why not dress a letter up too? I wanted to show that black tie events don’t always have to be classy. I did this by giving the typeface a bold look with rounded edges rather than sharp edges. The bowtie gives the typeface a look of sophistication while making the typeface fun. This typeface would spice up any event invite. I would consider this typeface fun with a touch of class.
