I like this a lot, and it gets my 10/10
To av oid the dark lines where two edges meet - M, Q, W etc. - I wondered whether it might be worth adding two bricks to the width. I have done a sample of what this would look like for the L, M, N, O P ...

Agreed, that does look better, so I've changed the M, Q, W and $ to do that. May also alter the lower-case letters to do the same thing.
